Processing of Personal Data at MexpandMarketing/By Malte Eriksson, July 16, 2022.

For MexpandMarketing, personal privacy is important. We strive for a high level of data protection. In this policy, we explain how we collect and use personal data. We also describe your rights and how you can exercise them. You are always welcome to contact us if you have any questions about how we process your personal data. Contact information is provided at the end of this text.

What is personal data and what is processing of personal data?
Personal data includes any information about a living individual that can be directly or indirectly linked to that person. It is not only about names and personal identification numbers but also about, for example, images and email addresses. Processing of personal data refers to all operations carried out on personal data in IT systems, whether it is on mobile devices or computers. This includes, for example, collection, recording, structuring, storage, processing, and transfer. In some cases, manual records may also be included.

What personal data do we collect about you and why?
We mainly process your name, email, and phone number. We process your personal data to be able to contact you and send information and offers via email.

Data Processors
In some situations, it is necessary for us to engage other parties. For example, different IT providers for HR systems or electronic mileage logs. They then act as data processors on our behalf. We control data processors to ensure they guarantee the security and confidentiality of personal data. When engaging data processors, it is done only for purposes compatible with the purposes we have for the processing.

Independent Data Controllers
We also share your personal data with certain other entities that act as independent data controllers, such as authorities like the Tax Agency when we are required to disclose such information under law or official decisions. When your personal data is shared with an entity that is an independent data controller, their organization's privacy policy and data management apply.

How long do we keep your personal data?
We never keep your personal data longer than necessary for each purpose. Some data in accounting, for example, needs to be kept for at least seven years due to legislation.

What are your rights as a data subject?
As a data subject, you have certain rights under applicable legislation. You have the right to receive a copy showing the personal data we have registered about you. You can request rectification of inaccurate data and, in certain cases, deletion.

Contact us for questions about how we process personal data.
If you have questions about how we process personal data, please contact Malte Eriksson, who is responsible for data protection matters. We may make changes to our privacy policy. The latest version of the privacy policy is always available on our website/in the employee handbook.
